Pebbles on the foreshore, feel the sand between my toes
The dunes are drifting eastwards with the way the wind blows
Sunshine warms my body, waves crash onto the shore
Something deep inside me needs to be here more and more

Gulls are singing loudly over castles made from sand
Warm water in the rock-pool lapping gently on my hand
I want to be back on the beach, a place where I belong
Re-live a long-gone childhood, feeling carefree, never wrong

Waves crash, sun shines, get lost, in time
Breathe deep, smell see, go far, be free
